Rubix Consulting were delighted to be offer their Temporary Works expertise on the landmark Victoria Riverside project in Manchester.

A building with a 192 old year­ old heritage will always be interesting to work on, and King’s College was no different, presenting unique Temporary Works challenges throughout the project.

The project involved the construction of a five­ metre ­deep contiguous piled wall basement, steel frame super structure and in ­situ poured, metal deck slabs.

Redevelopment of an existing 19th Century structure into contemporary office space, overlooking the River Irwell and directly opposite Spinningfields. Despite its relatively small size, the project had some interesting Temporary Works elements.

When John Sisk & Son commenced the construction of the tallest residential tower block in the heart of Birmingham, they trusted Rubix Consulting to oversee the Temporary Works package for the landmark scheme.
